At half the thickness of other mini DVD-Rs, these new media will take up less of your precious camera-case space, and the reduced material costs means half the weight so they ship for the price of one 39-cent stamp. The savings appear to be passed on to the consumer in several ways, as the manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the mini DVD-R Slim is aggressively set at US$1.00 per disc, much lower than current market prices.
